Our Field Trip to the U.S.S. Alabama
Add your thoughts about our field trip to the Battleship last week. What did you think about the sailors' living quarters like where they slept? What did you think about where they ate? What do you think it would have been like living in a submarine for months on end?

I thoroughly enjoyed touring the Battleship last week. It is always fascinating to learn new things about our history. The sailors' living quarters were as expected - small and quaint. Being that there is not a lot of room on the ship, I did not have high expectations about the size of living quarters. The dining area was a little different. I was expecting a different array of appliances, however was not disappointed. Living on the submarine for months on end.... I don't think I would like that. Nothing but water around you day and night without land seems very restricting and inhibiting.
